2000년 이후 한ㆍ중 고려시대 음악사 연구의 성과와 전망
한국음악사 연구에 있어서 고려시대는 매우 중요한 시대라고 할 수 있다. 그 이유는 외래음악의 종류나 수량으로 보아 가장 많이 유입된 시기였고, 아악ㆍ당악ㆍ향악으로 새롭게 분류하였을 만큼 큰 획을 남긴 시기였기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 고려시대 음악사의 연구성과를 조사할 때 2000년 이후의 시기로 기준을 정하여 정리하려 하며, 기존 연구내용과의 중복을 가능한 피하고 최신의 연구정보를 제공하려고 한다. 본 논문에서는 조사 범위를 한ㆍ중 두나라로 정하였고, 중국의 관련 연구성과도 조사하고자 한다. 한국의 연구성과는 아악, 당악, 향악, 음악기관, 불교와 나례, 교과서 및 교육과정의 여섯 가지 분야로 나누어 정리하였고, 중국은 아악, 당악, 음악교류와 문헌의 세 가지 분야로 설명하였다. 연구성과를 보면 아악과 당악은 한ㆍ중 두 나라가 모두 관심있는 연구주제이며, 이에 대한 연구도 활발히 이루어진 것으로 확인된다. 2000년 이후의 연구성과를 보면 연구의 세분화와 전문성이 이전보다 더 강화된 특징이 있고, 다양한 영역에서 고려시대 음악사를 연구하려는 노력도 확인된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 각 영역의 균형적인 연구가 부족한 점, 다양한 학문과 결합하여 종합적으로 연구를 해야 할 점, 새로운 원전자료의 발굴이 필요한 점, 연구의 시야와 안목을 넓혀야 한다는 점 등의 문제도 발견되어 앞으로 해결해야 할 과제로 남고 있다.
Results and Prospects of Study of Chinese and Korean Music History of Goryeo Dynasty Since 2000
In the study of Korean music history, Goryeo Dynasty is a significant era since the most types and quantities of foreign music were introduced during the era, and they were newly categorized into Aak, Dangak, and Hyangak. In addition, these music forms have been succeeded and performed actively to this day, causing great influence on the present Korean music history. In contrast with the profound impact of music of Goryeo Dynasty on overall Korean traditional music, the study of music history of Goryeo is relatively stagnant. This paper, therefore, is aimed at investigating the study results of music history of Goryeo Dynasty based on the criterion of its study results since 2000, and providing the latest study contents while avoiding the redundancy with the existing study contents as much as possible. The scope of the study is defined as the two countries: Korea and China and the study results of China are also investigated. Through this process, it is intended to supplement the limitation of confined study of music history of Goryeo Dynasty to that of Korea only, and thus to broaden the study scope. Moreover, the issues to be resolved for and prospects of the study of music history of Goryeo Dynasty are investigated by means of the study results of the two countries and set forth opinions on the basis of them.
